Cyber Security Lead – Ship Intelligence

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ship Intelligence team as a Software Engineer. Situational Awareness (SA) technologies are vital part of Remote and Autonomous Operations product portfolio. In this role you will be supporting the product manager(s) in planning, monitoring and controlling technical development of software products.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work as a software specialist on SA systems within product development teams
  • Manage and implement software integration with model based software development tools
  • Prepare software specifications (requirements, architectural drawings, test plans etc.)
  • Review and manage the internal/external project team’s technical work
  • Participate partners and suppliers selection
  • Prepare and present technical and progress reports

Key Experiences and Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least BSc or MSc degree level preferred in Information Technology, Automation, Systems Engineering or equal
  • Suitable level of knowledge related to software quality and development processes
  • Experience of model based software engineering methods and tools, Lab/Simulink and automatic code generation
  • Experience of HIL testing methods
  • Software coding experience is preferable
  • Experience of HW/SW integration of complex systems is preferable
  • Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of operating
